The only problem with that is you loose any media you have as well :-(

I had to do some trial and error. The trick was to EXPORT as a GEDCOM not as a Legacy file. Then IMPORT the GEDCOM replacing the Do Over file.
But it worked! Yippee!
Thank you so much.
I kept my original file from over the years but wanted a clean slate with this file to be sure I correctly do my citations and sources. Now I can move forward to the fun stuff...research.

Ok. I just exported the file, supposedly without sources. Didn't
work, I still show 125 master sources. What did I do wrong?

                Hi, Naomi --

I did this last year. Rather than copy the file and
                remove the
sources, I exported to a Legacy file with everything
                except the
                sources.

I am doing a modified Do Over. I have made a copy
                    of my family
file in Legacy. Now I want to remove ALL the
                    sources and
citations in my Do Over file so I can start fresh
                    with them.

                    How do I do this?
