The Legacy Cloud is as secure as other cloud storage which means it's
secure.
Cloud storage is different from putting something on a website.

I wouldn't mind getting off the Legacy cloud and just backing up
to dropbox. I wouldn't know how to delete the info on the Legacy
cloud though. Is that possible or feasible, do you think?____

believe the data is safe but some of my living family members
can’t sleep at night by the thought that I have all their personal
information on my computer, let alone if I would have a copy of it
somewhere in whatever cloud…. I have a backup on my computer and

There's a problem with the server at the moment (or was).
When you get an error like this, that should be your first thought.
Note the cloud backup is just an extra backup. It shouldn't be
your only backup and it shouldn't be your only backup off your
computer.
