I don't use two screens but among those who do I've heard them advise to
keep Legacy on the primary screen. This is more important if sometimes
you use only one. If you always use two then you need to move every
screen that opens to the monitor you want it on. I don't know whether
that works for the pop-ups. For other screens, Legacy remembers where
they were and to reset them you need to delete Legacy2.usr from
...\Documents\Legacy Family Tree\_AppData\usr\ folder

Yes, what Jenny said.
I am using two computer screens and that prompt about overwriting pops
up on a different screen from the one I am entering data on and I keep
forgetting to look for it there so I hear the ding and it annoys me.
Maybe I need to learn more about using two screens.

No. When you click on the Copy to Clipboard icon at the bottom right
of the Assigned Sources screen you are asked "The Source Clipboard
currently contains a Source. Do you want to Overwrite it or Cancel?"
There are buttons for those options. I could be wrong, but I don't
think you can switch off that prompt.

I think you are talking about the Prompt for Detail on the Source
Clipboard so that you can change the detail before applying again.
I leave it on because I often change source on the clipboard and
forget I have.
But sure you can turn it off.
Look at the Source Clipboard screen when it is open.
See the checkbox lower left corner.
It is also controlled from Options > Customise 7.4
If you watch any of the webinars from Geoff Rasmussen you'll see he
works with it off but is far more disciplined than I am in applying
the particular source and detail to every field and person it applies
to before doing anything else.
