Fortunately something better than square wheels and sliced bread came along - her name is Cathy. She recommended copying a source (or sources) to the clipboard and pasting in the appropriate spot. So THAT'S what that little blue arrow and minus sign are for! Global ability is very efficient but very dangerous anyhow. Because of Cathy we can put the Old Dog/New Trick adage to rest.
