to get the slides to scan correctly you need to pass light through them. Some scanners have an extra lamp for this purpose. My self, I have heaps of slides and bought a slide scanner specifically for this purpose (and scanning negatives too!).

Subject: [LegacyUG] Slides into Legacy

HELP: I am adept at getting pictures attached to individuals BUT when I try to get a slide attached to an individual, I can get the slide (picture) into the computer but not into Legacy. All I get is a picture of the slide holder. I don't want a theory of illustration or pictures. All I want is a step by step procedure.
When I bought my first camera I also bought into slides. We have very few pictures of anything or anybody, but a chest full of slides.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can get me over this hurdle.
