The following training video CDs were updated for version 6:

- Legacy for Beginners
- Your 12-Step Checklist to Using Legacy
- Legacy's Ultimate Guide to Sources
- Researching with Legacy: Mastering Events and Chronologies
- Tagging and Searching Made Easy

The "New Innovations in Legacy" video/CD was made specifically for the new
changes in version 5. It has not been updated, yet the content is still
quite relevant.

The "What's New in Legacy 6" video is available to view online (free) or to
download to CD for free. See the news article at
http://www.legacynews.typepad.com/.

Most of the content has not changed in the updated training video CDs.
However, the most significant changes were in the 12-Step CD as the layout
of the program's preferences have changed since the video was initially
produced.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Legacy Training Videos and Manual

Were the Leagcy training videos revised to reflect changes in Legacy 6.0? I

purchased five training videos (CDs) when I purchased Legacy 5.0 and don't
want to spend that much money again if there is no significant difference.

I have examined the titles of the training videos as advertised on the web
site. Four of the five CDs have the same titles as the CDs I own. The module

names on each of these four CDs appear to be pretty much the same. The title

of my fifth CD does, however, differ from that on the web. The one on the
web now covers "Tagging and Searching". The fifth video in my set is
entitled "New Innovations in Legacy" -- the modules are Views, Reports,
Locations, Data Entry and Conclusions.

Was the manual significantly rewritten to reflect changes in Legacy 6.0?
Again I don't want to spend unnecessary money if I can get by with the
manual for version 5.0.
