Hi Gail and Dennis,

Thanks Gail for originating this thread and Dennis for the instructions.

I have Access 2000 so tried it. Some of the tables and querys are enigmatic but I recognized a query I had just made in Legacy, (Individuals with multiple parents), and another haven't done but was planning to ask about. When I started using Legacy I sometimes double clicked above a spouse with no (known) parents and immediately created a new marriage of 2 unknowns. Later I realized what was happening and wanted to delete any marriages I might have created accidentally. I still don't know how to find a marriage MRIN containing no RINs in Legacy but I have found them in an Access query and can now delete them, (using Legacy).

though.

I think you need a newer version of Access. As I recall, Access 2000 is
required.

When you get it, just File>Open, then type *.fdb in File name and hit
Enter. Then select your Legacy data file and select Open.

Backup first!
