Hi All,
I'm sort of stretched for time this week but I'd love to help with this.
Would be magnificent if you were able to tackle a MacOSX release based
on the present cvs state.
I'm on osx and I don't have a linux box to test on... but hopefully if
it works on osx it will be more likely to work on linux...
Did you try Sourceforge's compile farms yet? They are hosting some Linux
platforms also. As I have learned it's a good opportunity to test one's
additions to the leJOS sources on other platforms before sharing them :-)
Unfortunately, the MacOSX hosts remain to be off-line for some time now...
There is a USB Java spec (jsr 88) that has a partial implementation and
apparent instructions to build out an impl on any platform. Perhaps its
worth looking at? Has anyone else done any work on that?
Maybe that is this kind of "libusb" thingy Juergen talked about?
Would be great to see it in a (potential) leJOS 3.1 release.
Regards,
Matthias
