What I found with the Sigma lens, is that if I made an entry for it then it
worked... Originally lensfun detected it as a generic 24mm lens and auto
assigned it to Canon 24mm ... As soon as I made the entry with the correct
lens information from the metadata it picked right up and recognized it. I
expect this to be the same with other lenses.

Thanks.. I'll just keep submitting them on sourceforge. I was hoping to
pitch in and add my own lenses to the database as I don't know how many
Admins there are that actually do it. That's why I was looking to just do
it myself from start to finish. 4 or 5 more lenses will be coming this next
week too....and more after that.. So really it was just a way to keep my
workload from bothering other people as I'll be continuing to submit more
lenses every month.
