Having a stable maintence-only version (with occasional backports) is
not the same thing as fork. Tk users might actually prefer a stable
maintenance version, since the risk of Tk features breaking between
releases is much bigger than with Qt.

4.8 probably won't be that stable maintenance version, but as for 4.9
/ 4.10... time will tell.
