It seems like "foo" had better be "Leo", because only Leo knows about clones, etc. My sense is that using .leo files as "true" collaboration files is going to require that Leo become intimately involved with diff and merging. It's a problem I have never considered before, with new interface considerations in all likelihood. I'm not eager to go in this direction, as you probably can sense, but perhaps I could be persuaded...
