Hi Nils,
Try opening a command shell and then start Leo with python.exe instead of
pythonw.exe. There may be errors there not captured by the log window, ex:
python c:\path\to\leo-editor\LaunchLeo.py
If that doesn't reveal anything useful perhaps try a more recent
development snapshots from http://www.greygreen.org/leo/
