+1 from me, for the wording and general approach. Not sure about the utility of having this presented on install though. I install programs almost every week just to have a look at what they do, and then remove or never touch them again. Maybe trigger after x number of starts, or x number of days used. Another idea: it's become pretty standard for programs to have a "check for new version" feature, usually under Help or About.
