Rick,
The themes alpha will be posted to the MotifZone this week. Quite frankly,
this has been *much* harder than we expected. If you go to the projects
page of the MotifZone, you will see some screen shots. There was also a BOF
on Themes at Linux World in San Jose.
I assume that the CVS problem you are referring to is the one hosted at the
MotifZone? There is an opengroup_2_1_30_pl5 tag (which includes all the
patches), was that what you were looking for? There are also some patches
that have been submitted by others on the Open Motif project page and will
be incorporated in the next ICS binary release.
In regards to your XIMProc comment, you didn't provide a lot of details
here. Given that XIMProc is provided in your X distribution, sounds like a
build problem. Did you use the sRPMs we (ICS) provided? There are also some
readmes relative to building Motif by hand that are included in our source
distribution (Please read them! As you pointed out, its not an
automake/autoconf/libtool... build and we (ICS) build Motif slightly
differently than TOG.)
I also saw your email on the lesstif mailing list, what tests were you
referring to where you said:
With LessTif
we fail 63 out of 555 tests
With openMotif
we fail 92 out of 519 tests
Were these Motif 1.2.x ->2.1 issues? If not, I'm sure that people would
like to know how to reproduce the bugs so that they can be fixed.
Mark
BTW: Still plenty of postings in the help area of the MotifZone. This email
list doesn't seemed to be used as much. (We even posted news of the latest
lesstif release!)
