This is my point exactly. Who are you to say that it won't obviously break
anything? You don't have all of my code. I doubt that you have compiled it with
everything that is out there. This is the whole point of CVS!! If someone
whats, or needs a stable release they pull from a known tag. I someone pulls
from the head, they know that it is in flux an may be able to help fix problems
before you know that they exist. Doing things the way that they seem to be
going, we have to wait for you to say "I think this is good, what do you
think", and only then do you find out about the problems that you didn't think
of. If you can confidently say that you have thought of _everything_ then I
would really like to meet you......

A complete re-write might not be necessary if someone had the chance to point
out a flaw in the beginning.....
This may be tagged with the name "OpenMotif", but from what I have seen so far
it is _far_ from open......
