While answering someone in comp.windows.x.motif I did that and found:

"Use the most recent version of LessTif. Precompiled binaries for Cygwin
are always available from
http://www.lesstif.org.";

However, on www.lesstif.org there are only Linux, FreeBSD and OS2
binaries...
