I was copying from the pdf. I didn't know that the pdf version would do
that. I think it has to do with the <tab> that must be there.

I couldn't say if I've had the same copy-paste difficulties when doing so
before. I Haven't noticed any.

My host os is debian and I don't run any virtual machines.
