(No probs: indication of where you were in the book, kindof see-sawed
all over the place in the earlier post(s) - e.g. 'all now compiles' -vs-
'6 minute' compile -vs- point at which asking re glibc errors -vs- posted
'errors' not looking too bad (iirc) -vs- .... ; guessed you'd clarify
if/as nec.)

Google e.g. 'glibc test errors', look at posts from past year or so;
it's certainly been addressed fairly often on lfs lists. Also look at the
source codes for the testsuites.

A very good starting and focal point, is to subscribe to the lfs & blfs
support lists, and read them to get a feel for and build up knowledge of,
such matters. The b/lfs books contain some good starting pointers - e.g.:
----
* lower half of the page:
  http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/7.5/introduction/beyond.html

* http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/view/development/chapter01/askforhelp.html
  http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html
  http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/hints/downloads/files/errors.txt
----

There are, of course, many other resources on the web. Judicious use of
web-searches - and judicious selection/use of results(!) - on the error
messages that you're seeing, can be a good help. Also, don't overlook the
likes of: a package's own mailing lists; (at least some) reading of the
package source and auxiliary files; tools like gdb & strace.
