This is a little sticky in that I know of several projects where people work on
a project as the project intersects with their day job and is a great fit.
This does not imply that the person would not continue contributing if their
work role changes. I know of several instances where this is the case. I can
understand the goal of understanding diversity and full disclosure. If someone
is working on this for their day job and would keep working on it if their day
job changes should they still put independent? This would be a more
technically accurate representation of their participation even if its part of
their day job for now.
