It is and should be relevant. Spartans left the old and infirm to tend for 
themselves considering  all defective people to be the parasites. Eventually, 
they would eliminate them by throwing off the rocks into the ocean. It was an 
equal opportunity, free market state. I think that when planning  a political 
future, one needs to understand and draw lessons from history.
