Little to nothing. Just one more slap in the face.

But the cartoons you are so gleeful about ARE offensive. Yeah, yeah, we
believe in free speech, etc.
And the cartoonists had every right to publish them. But they couldn't be
so callous as to not think these
cartoons wouldn't lead to serious consequenses, especially when Americans
started mocking those offended.
Imagine Americans mocking Jews in Skokie for not wanting to see the swastika
banner flown there. Most
of us were plenty offended and did NOT mock the Jews for being offended by a
"piece of cloth".

But we demand the right to fly the swastika banner, or to fly the
Confederate battle flag, or even to burn the
US flag because each time we whittle away at the first amendment, we lose a
little more of our right to
say what WE want without fear of retribution.

OTOH, most of us are mature enough not to offend those we are trying to
sway.

They are closer.

The Dutch were in control of the recent piracy in international waters off
Somalia. I also seem to recall they
were a part of the "Coalition of the Willing", as were the Spanish.
