Scott is as Libertarian as you, Paul. He accomplished much running as a Republican. He stuck to his Libertarian positions, yet still managed to earn the endorsement of the local Republican party. If he continues his hard work, he could very well be, eventually, the Ron Paul of Illinois.
His switch to the GOP also played a big part in shaking the Illinois LP out of it's dysfunction and begin it's move back towards effectiveness. Scott accomplished much for libertarianism in this area by running as a Republican. --- In [email protected], "Paul" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Assuming he actually WAS a libertarian (which is almost never the case > with people YOU describe as libertarians), he sold his soul in hopes > of winning and he still lost.
