Maybe not technically "misquote", but certainly "misapply". But
taking the time to read Ron will reveal that "misquote" can also
mean "misapply". So actually, yes you did misquote Emerson. Your
use of it is EXACTLY what Ron is complaining about.

There is absolutely no obligation to vote "guilty" to arrive at a
unanimous verdict. Get on a jury, stand your ground, and fulfill
