of electorial victory in what is, as recognized by you, a broken or
rigged system?
I see no fraud in party recruitment that makes plain the nature of
the game as it is now and has been for all LP history. I see
the 'power' of the LP in its CONSISTENCY to brave advocacy that
actually inspires people in and out of the party. I see cruel
delusion in promoting (for most LP races) what seems a wild eyed
feeling of 'maybe we can WIN' (that election) I see as stunning
achievment Libertarians in HUNDREDS of public offices; especially
since it was done in the context of an establishment rigged game.
So, I'm certainly NOT saying don't run electorial campaigns; just run
them honestly as what they can be in CURRENT circumstances. Iow, I
advocate understanding the nature of the game AND appreciation for
the power of politics that maintain and advance consistency to the
principle of universal libertarianism; aka, liberty & justice for ALL
Is there REALLY much difference between the 'preaching' in an
effective political speech and/or an inspirational sermon :)
