Fight for the right to dispose of our person and property as we please without government taking it from us for charity, or should we just fight to the point that government is taking what it needs to fund programs that help people? Most people believe that's what it's doing now, and that's why we are in this boat.
It's all or nothing. Government should not be in the business of redistributing wealth, no matter how worthy the cause. If it's that worthy, Americans are more than generous in their giving, especially when they aren't giving up 50% of their earnings in taxes. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of John Stroebel Sent: Thursday, June 29, 2006 2:31 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Libertarian] Re: Youthful Entrepreneurs > And again I point this out....demanding that the wrongs be righted, or that you be treated fairly is simply getting you laughed at by the people picking your pockets. You want it to change? I suppose a few generations of whining wouldn't hurt, but you need to fight for that to happen. .
