Fight for the right to dispose of our person and property as we please
without government taking it from us for charity, or should we just fight to
the point that government is taking what it needs to fund programs that help
people? Most people believe that's what it's doing now, and that's why we
are in this boat.

It's all or nothing. Government should not be in the business of
redistributing wealth, no matter how worthy the cause. If it's that worthy,
Americans are more than generous in their giving, especially when they
aren't giving up 50% of their earnings in taxes.
