Eric, Why is the responsibility of libertarians to carry water for Lieberman? Why should we pretend he is anything other than a statist? Just because lefties don't like him? Is your political belief system really that shallow that anyone not liked by a leftie is automatically a libertarian?
When he actually does become a libertarian, please let me know. I won't be holding my breath. Until then, he is part of the problem, and I'll not be spending my precious time sucking up to a well-established Big Government Statist, just because some folks on the left don't like him. Eric, I am a libertarian, not an apologist for statists or a Pro-Anyone-The-Left-Opposes-atarian. I won't be crying when he loses, nor will I be dancing gleefully when Lamont wins.
