(I ended up using the MONTHS function, which at least has documentation that describes its behavior.) I had in mind to ask the forum how that's typically done, and where I can find any documentation or examples of how to go about it. The responses here so far have given me the impression that y'all are opposed to this kind of improvement to the user experience.
