It would be nice to have some real proof that Excel modifies the separators for
this specific function ARRAYTOTEXT() when the decimal separator is set to be a
comma.

The reason I say this is because there is no such behavior for the
ARRAYTOTEXT() function documented for / in Excel. The ARRAYTOTEXT() function
has no argument to set a specific separator, and reading documentation from MS
for locales that use comma as decimal separator still claim that the same comma
is used as separator for ARRAYTOTEXT() too.

Moreover, some forum posts suggest to use a different function when such
ambivalence happens in Excel.

Therefore, if Calc wants compatibility with a function that was created in
Excel (and we should want that), the behavior / result in Calc should be the
same as in Excel.

Could someone (other than the OP) please confirm that Excel actually modifies
the separator for the ARRAYTOTEXT() function "automatically" when the decimal
separator is the comma character?

In particular, in an Excel-created xlsx file, when the second argument for the
ARRAYTOTEXT() function is "1" and the decimal separator is the comma character
in Excel, which separators the function uses for row and for column separators,
respectively?

Is the OS locale settings affecting the behavior of the ARRAYTOTEXT() function
in Excel?

All these questions should be absolutely clear before changing anything related
to this function in Calc.
