Several things: 1) As Neil noticed, when changing locale UI without restarting LO the sort by default still uses the previous locale. But when restarting LO, the by default sort works. 2) when explicitly selecting "Danish" in sort options, it works whatever locale chosen 3) you changed language by default but it doesn't change the locale I suppose it changing language matters for the spelling but not for the order. For this specific point, I can understand, sort concerns several cells so if one cell uses language A and another cell uses language B, what sort should be used if it's based on language?
