Dennis, Markus, I do not understand why you always close this bug without
having a deeper look on it. Here another failure scenario which is faster to
read:
1. Preconditions: Fresh (default) LO installation on Linux.
2. The user has a calc or writer document in a sub-folder of his home directory
with hyperlinks to other documents in the same folder. These hyperlinks where
originally inserted via menu: Insert → Hyperlink → Document → Document Path
All these hyperlinks work perfectly (open with Ctrl-Click).
3. The user opens the same document over a symbolic link from his desktop. But
when he try to open the hyperlinked documents via Ctrl-Click only
Error-Messages pop up. He has no glue what is going wrong because only absolute
hyperlink paths are visible to him....
Dennis, Markus, is this really the desired behavior of LibreOffice? What about
usability?
By the way in OpenOffice there seems to be no such bug.
