Python does too, but there's also the side where development becomes much harder if there's a significant investment in a particular ecosystem that turns out to be limited. This is the case for Python in the context of BI, which is quite clearly very web-oriented. There are already also promising projects that attempt to migrate data science libraries to JS/TS.
