Thanks Ray, I'm an old CP/M freak, and therefore a Wordstar (editor) fan. Luckyly RH7.x installs an editor calle Joe. Works very much like Wordstar, and I feel very comfi with it. I have used VI(m) but it's a dreadful freaky think, but powerful i must admit. I've seen programmers busy with it, swallowing a HUGE 2 gigabyte file..... Can't do that with do, but i just stick with small config files, heh heh Cheers Robbert > -----Original Message----- > From: Raymond [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Saturday, September 29, 2001 04:53 > To: Libretto > Subject: RE: Key commands and impedance > > > Date: Sat, 29 Sep 2001 10:42:26 +0800 > From: Raymond <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: RE: Key commands and impedance > > > >I was really happy to learn about this, as i can see only 25 percent of > >what's on the GNOME desktop. > > > >i tried the key combination, but it didn't change a thing. > I'm not that familiar with X myself but have you tried changing > the resolutions using the Xconfigurator utility (from the command > line)?
