Hey Neil,

As I noticed you talking about screen resolution:

>the snag is that the external display can have a different window size in

>from the LCD. In simultaneous mode, the external display is always 640*480,

Here's a question.
I was at a great bookstore yesterday, in Utrecht, and noticed a book about
Redhat 6.2.
I paged it thru, and noticed a page where it said;
if you want to change screenresolution on-the-fly, you can do so, by
pressing ctrl + ALT + '+'
You can cycle thru all available screenresolutions.

I was really happy to learn about this, as i can see only 25 percent of
what's on the GNOME desktop.

i tried the key combination, but it didn't change a thing.

Any idea how this could work?
I don't think that they removed this feature after RH v6.2

Anyone?
Help!!

Cheers

Robbert
