I'm not that familiar with X myself but have you tried changing the resolutions using the Xconfigurator utility (from the command line)? You probably won't want to select anything except 640x480 but if you want higher (and to be able to scroll around) you just change the viewport settings (don't ask me WHERE, I got it working by pure fluke, if anyone else knows do tell!). Alternatively, have a play around in /etc/X11/XF86Config , I was able to get it working ONCE but I never remembered how ... just back the file up first before you play around with it ;-) If you have vim, edit it in that, it does nice syntax highlighting as well which will come in handy ;-) Speaking of which, tried www.linuxdocs.org ? If I recall correctly I had one of those pages in front of me when I got mine working. - Raymond ************************************************************** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://libretto.basiclink.com/archive - Archives http://www.picante.com/~gtaylor/portable/faq.html - FAQ -------TO UNSUBSCRIBE------- Reply to any of the list messages.
