Subject: Lib 100 Install Win98SE pro and con?

I have a nice Libretto 100 with the original Windows 95 on it.
It has 64 meg ram (the recent Dell offer) and a 6 gig hard disk.

I fdisked the big hard disk in the Lib itself
and then copied over the original 2 gig Lib 100 disk
with Windows 95
using xcopy /c /h /e /r /k over the network.
Seems to work just fine.

Windows 98SE which I use in my other computers has some
nice features that I would like to have on the Lib but I don't want
to slow the thing down.

What is the advice of the group pro and con
to go Windows 98SE?

I would go about it by loading all the files from the Windows 98SE
cd-rom into Libretto c:\win98 using the network, renameing windows.com
to windows.cod and running setup. Are there any gotchas I need to know?

I've been following this group since I got my old Lib 70,
mostly lurking but occasionally posting. In this case I'd really
like to hear from you.

Thanks, Larry Alkoff N2LA
