So the charging electronics for the L50/70 extended pack is IDENTICAL to that for the 
L100/110 extended pack? Hmm ... I wonder what the chances are the electronics for the 
Portege 300 pack is the same as that for the L100/110 extended (I can't make the 
circuit board fit but I CAN try and unsolder the charging connector and attach it 
using flyleads ;-) ... why didn't you just replace the cells anyway? (or was the 
charging board on the 2503 fried?) ...

Where would one start looking? Now you've got me interested ... if I can't get the 
flylead idea to work I might just replace the cells in a dead 2503 ... if I can FIND a 
dead 2503 ...
