Check out www.conics.net and look at the sony vaio u1, it's a perfect libretto replacement and runs xp pro with ease. I have been using it just over a month now, and its just like when I first got my libretto 50 all those years ago...magic -----Original Message----- From: John Musielewicz [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, June 27, 2002 9:45 PM To: Libretto Subject: Re: [LIB] L50 & USB? But what if you don't need all that? Sure continue if you want (since its nice to know the differances) but to be honest what I'd really like is a IBM PC-110 kept to the same size but improved with a transmeta cpu, usb port, more ram and a pci buss. I can always get a serial port using a pcmcia card. The Libretto, inspite of the fact it is a very nice computer, is just a little too big. I'm getting really reluctant to purchase any computing product, even used stuff, unless its exactly what I need. > >( From the one who has purchased both a L110 and L50 used in the last few >weeks... the kids are gonna love their "new" L50's... ) I don't doubt they'll love them.
