Naw, you don't it.  Way back when, that was me being anal and trying  
to emulate/improve some perlisms.  I'd break out the build process and  
keep them as two separate packages, but 'require "libxml"' or 'require  
"libxslt" is sufficiently unique in the universe.  :)  -sc
