The change to stretched spacing was intentional, to even the spacing of
interleaved tuplets at the top of this page, in the case of a stretched
line.
The old code made fresh 'springs' between notes in different voices when
there was interleaved timing, where the patch derives these springs from
the spacing rules for a single line of notes.
The attached image shows the case Janek found that gets worse, along with
the spacing of each voice set in its own \score.
