Well, as a first stab, here are 2 versions of the Gould "doozy" (page 37,
see also http://blog.steinberg.net/2014/02/development-diary-part-the-fifth/
The only difference with these is that the rests that are badly placed
using the previous algorithm remain badly placed in the new one. This is
because MMRs (AFAIK) do not use collision control, so when they are well
placed, it's a coincidence. For the minim rest in bar 4 the same is true:
there is no collision management (AFAIK) except between grobs in the same
note column, so the fact that the minim is higher in the old version and
therefore closer to "correct" remains a co-incidence of placing.
