Comment #23 on issue 4076 by [email protected]: allow bn for B-natural in English
https://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=4076

Re #19 (2nd para): If I understand correctly, this is more a matter of "note entry", every pitch would be a 2 characters string? Fir me, a "c" is a pitch with neither a sharp nor a flat; if I forgot the accidental, I will get a natural sign printed.

May I ask how English people read (or solmize) the Cantique de Jean Racine by Fauré, in D flat?

For French, we would need two alternatives, since we say either "bécarre" (dilemma: is b for bécarre or for bémol?) or "naturel", and my wife teaches that in the key of F, every B is flattened unless it is preceded by a natural sign.
