Well, yeah, but that's not got anything to do with the message 
window.  That's a separate thing altogether, and I doubt that it writes the 
message window to the output file.  Or maybe it does.  I haven't used it 
for so long, since it was originally useless.

I'd like to have some sort of prioritizable trace.  The trace you get right 
now is so loaded with stuff it's effectively useless.  Sometimes I'll write 
my own trace functions, but that's time consuming.

Or at least some kind of post-mortem "where-was-I-when-I-died" sort of 
function would have saved me a ton-o-trouble over the years.
