What syntax are you referring to? The scriptExecutionStyle property only
affects the behavior of the window() function itself:

scriptExecutionStyle = 9: If you provide a name to the window function and no window of that name exists, then a new window object is created and a reference to that window is returned.

scriptExecutionStyle = 10:
If you provide a name to the window function and no window of that name
exists, then a VOID value is returned.

in both cases:
If you provide a name to the window function and a window of that name
exists then a reference to that window object is returned.

Other than that this property has no other affect on MIAW related code, it only affects the top-level function as described. Does that mesh with your experience or are you seeing something different?

What about syntax like: _player.window[x].movie.someHandler() and all the other DOM stuff? Isn't the "validity" of this governed by the SES? And I can't seem to find a listing for 'tell' in the help anymore - doesn't the SES "deprecate" this command?
