Actually, if you make a dir and put it in the Xtras folder within the Director folder,
it will work excactly as a MIAW. You can in that movie make a field member that (with
a little nifty coding) will work as an advanced messagewindow if you'd like. Just
"tell stage".
It only works in authoring mode however. You cannot include this (fake) Xtra in a
projector or anything. But still that method is nice as a toolbox for you as the
developer. We use it ourself here. You can put all sorts of scripts there, which can
be used with any movie open. But again: bare in mind that it only works in authoring
mode and it only runs when the main movie (the stage) runs.
