I wouldn't let anyone install D8 on their machines at work because it
seemed so buggy because of the window issues. Then I turned on the
Property Inspector and left it on, just drag it off the bottom except for
the menubar if I want to hide it. And since then I've not seen any
problems at all, unless I forget and close the PI (and then we're back to
the same old problems).
Keep your PI open and you'll suprise us all if you have windowing problems.
