Hi Adam,
I have tried most media type now with success, apart from other
shockwave movies. I'm guessing its a similar problem with loading other
peoples flash files into flash, the variables and paths can be wrong and
can conflict. I might open other peoples shockwave files in a new
window.
Now I have this sorted I have to do the hard part of creating the site
and the content management system for it. I am going to use a 3d
navigation system thats generated depending on the structure of the site
the users create. I'm just wondering if I should used the new 3d lingo
or write a scripted 3d environment. I think im going to just move the
camera along the Z-axis so I'm not sure I need the full 3d lingo
functionality, I could just use scalling and transparancy to give the
illusion of 3d.
I am neither a student or teacher at plymouth, I am a web designer
working on university website along with 6 others.

Hi Jamie,
I think as long as you set the media type it should work with anything
although It's always a good idea to do some experimenting. I've never
tried
doing this with shockwave movies as sprites though.
good luck,
adam.
p.s are you a student or a teacher at plymouth?
