We just tried vector shapes and film loops, and they all work great. Shapes
off the tool palette (excuse the lack of precise terminology, I'm still
learning) however don't.

I think as long as you set the media type it should work with anything
although It's always a good idea to do some experimenting. I've never tried
doing this with shockwave movies as sprites though.
