you must admit- you were able to cut something off of the load with it,
which was my point. i think we got our background application down to 30%
but i wasn't directly involved with figuring out how to do it, it was
delegated and a few months ago now. if i had the source code i would
certainly supply it to the list. (sorry) the next time i talk to the guys i
was working with at the time i'll get more info and supply the exact routine
that worked for us.

also keep in mind- the background app was 120x200 and all it did was check a
hardware key and a few v12 fields every 4 hours. so it wasn't really doing
much to speak of. not sure how this would work in a presentation situation
vs an app situation, or if it's applicible at all.
