I'd check the possibility of a bad burn on the one CD. If you're using
Toast, for example, and burning from a partition, your partition can get
fragmented.

I don't burn much on Windows, but you might check to see if there is a
way of arranging the files on your CD. The closer to the hub, the faster
the access. Plus, intelligent grouping can help--if you're displaying a
series of pictures while playing a QT file, it helps to put them close
together physically.

You might also try pre-loading the troublesome files.
