You want existing mainframe and AS/400 users to be able to access an
application on a UNIX machine?  Is the application also web based?  I don't
know about the AS/400, but there is a web browser available for both OS/390
and VSE.  Macro4 markets it and is called Enter/WEB.  As long as the browser
doesn't need to invoke Javascript and other stuff that is not inherent to the
mainframe (like graphics), it works quite well.  On trial, I had the
opportunity to install and use Enter/Web under VSE.
